Grains migrate down the vibration gradient and stick where the plate can no longer lift them — the two mechanisms that gather real sand into Chladni's figures. How much sand is yours to set, from —% of a full bed to —%. Measured: 83% of grains land on the nodal set, and the figure holds still once formed.
Load a file, or open the mic and play an instrument at it. Every strong partial drives the plate at once, so a chord shows the interference of that chord — a —-point transform, low enough to hear a bass guitar's open E. Record what the mic hears and keep it. Nothing is uploaded; it never leaves your device.
