Privacy & Terms

In short. OLI runs in your browser. We keep only what an account needs — a username, a password, and the frequencies you choose to save. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising. Audio you play, record or load never leaves your device.

Who we are

What we store

Your username and password when you create an account. The password is hashed by our authentication provider; we never see or store it in readable form.
The frequencies you save, so they follow you between devices.
Any message you send through the contact form, so we can reply.

That is all. We set no cookies of our own, load no advertising or analytics scripts, and build no profile of you.

What stays on your device

Microphone audio is analysed live in your browser to drive the visuals. It is never recorded, stored or transmitted. Your browser asks permission first.
Audio files you load are read locally and never uploaded.
Saved frequencies are also kept in your browser's local storage, so the app works offline.

Providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and accounts and saved data use Supabase. Each processes technical request data (such as an IP address) to serve and secure the service, under its own privacy terms. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Your data

You can delete your saved frequencies from within the app at any time. To delete your account entirely, ask us and we will remove it. Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 — and the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK — you may request access to, or correction of, the limited data we hold.

Terms of use

OLI is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
OLI generates and visualises sound. It is not a medical device and makes no health claims of any kind.
Protect your hearing. Sustained tones can damage hearing, and loudness is hard to judge after a few minutes — keep the volume low, especially with headphones.
If moving visual patterns affect you, switch the geometry off before use.
